The old site was static HTML and Flash which made updates slow and inconvenient. It also failed terribly trying to validate as valid HTML which made it incompatible with several browsers (versions). Using Flash also blocks disabled visitors (blind) from viewing the content.
The fresh code is a mix of valid XHTML and CSS2 and a few JavaScripts backed by the incredible jQuery JavaScript library. Colours were based on the new company logo, and future updates are to be expected as the client gets more material ready.
